"Turning Pages, Chapter One: Robin" is the twenty-fifth issue of the series Jack of Fables with a cover date of September, 2008.
Publisher's summary
Let's face it: You already know what's going to happen in this issue. Jack's going to do something smarmy, some creepy guy will do something creepy, an egg will explode, and a little blue pig will pontificate on weighty matters while wearing a brassiere on his head. Just another typical chapter in the life of Jack of The Tales. In this issue, however, we learn a bit more about the lovely young librarian Robin Page, and find out why she does the things she does. It's part one of a new story, even!
Trivia
In a brief flashback from one of Humpty Dumpty's futile attempts to flee from the Golden Boughs Retirement Village, the latter is mocked by Robin Page. Humpty responds by reciting well-known quotes regarding liberty and human rights: "Let My People Go," from the Book of Exodus in the Bible; the title of the protest song "We Shall Overcome"; and "I Have a Dream" by Martin Luther King.
