"The Great Fables Crossover, Part 7 of 9: A Pair of Jacks" is the eighty-fifth issue of Fables.
Publisher's summary
"The Great Fables Crossover" part 7 of 9! Jack Horner, meet Jack Frost. But wait a minute! Didn't we already establish that Jack Horner was Jack Frost? Concerning the nature of his craft, Tom Clancy once opined that the "difference between fiction and reality is that fiction has to make sense." If this is so, how do we explain Jack being put in charge of the Farm and all of Fablekind? How do we explain Jack being allowed to babysit Bigby and Snow's cubs? How does that make sense? We here at Fables headquarters can only come to one conclusion: as impossible as it may seem, Fables isn't fiction, it's real.
Plot
Jack gives his son lame advice and pushes him aside. They then get into a heated argument, making Jack Frost use his ice powers to freeze his father. Beauty convinces Stinky that Jack and Blue are not the same while Clara frees Jack from the ice. Beast tells everyone at the Farm that he sent Rose Red and Jack away somewhere safe. While Jack sneaks into Bigby's stuff, he teaches Bigby's kids poker so he won't get caught. It starts snowing, so Jack confronts his son. Jack tells his son that they can fix their relationship if Jack Frost finds Bigby and ask him to kill the Dread Wizard Thorn.
