"Burning Questions" is the fifty-ninth issue in Fables. This issue is a series of small vignettes, answering various questions posed by readers about events in the previous issues.

Over the span of the FABLES series, including specials and hardcovers and such, readers have had a few questions about this and that. For example: Who caught the bouquet at Snow's wedding? Well, this issue is dedicated to resolving those questions, clearing up those dangling odds and ends. And being Fables, we're going to answer those questions with a series of funny, entertaining, short-short stories, illustrated by an amazing assortment of artists including Eric Shanower (Age of Bronze) and Barry Kitson (SUPERGIRL AND THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES).

- How does Bufkin keep getting his hands on the liquor? (Christopher Maslanka of Howell, New Jersey, USA): Prince Charming gets on Bufkin for stealing alcohol in his private, lock liquor cabinet.
- What is training like for a new member of the Mouse Police? (Ed Mayer of Plainfield, Illinois, USA): New mouse recruits are being prepped for assignments and training.
- Did Jack leave anyone messages before he left Fabletown forever? (Tim Hotchkin of Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA): At a bar, Jack calls multiple girls, telling them that they are the ones he wanted to spent his life with as he can't ever return to them.
- How are the new Three Little Pigs adjusting to being pigs? (Duncan Berry of Burnley, UK): At the Farm, the three giants adjust to being three pigs.
- Besides Fly, who else has asked questions of the magic mirror? (Colin Campbell of Malven, Pennsylvania, USA): On some nights, Prince Charming, Bufkin, and Jack secretly go to the magic mirror and ask for selfish things.
- What is Boy Blue's favorite song? (Brandon Cook of Huntington, West Virginia, USA): At his old office, Bigby asks Boy Blue if he can play his favorite song to him. Leading into...

- What is Frau Totenkinder knitting? (Jennifer Ferrell of San Diago, California, USA): Beauty asks the witch what she is knitting, and it is a baby outfit for Beauty's future child, but there are multiple arms on the outfit.
- Who was Prince Charming's first love? (Paul Nolan of Southampton, UK): As a child, Prince Charming brought a snail that says she's a princess, but his parents see that it is lying.
- How many romantic conquests has Prince Charming had? (Angela Rufino of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA): At the Business Office, Beauty angrily counts Prince Charming's love interests for his memoirs, at least 1412 women, and the list goes on.
