Plot

The issue is presented in multiple chapters.

Chapter One: Secret Agent Man

The story begins outside of The Farm, where Mowgli, and Bigby meet with Beast, Prince Charming and Rose Red for a clandestine mission. Charming reveals to the group a giant beanstalk, from Jack's original stash, and sends Bigby to climb it to meet his mission contact, Cinderella, upon arrival in the Cloud Kingdom.

Back at the farm, Mowgli frees Bagheera from his cage, showing his official pardon.

Chapter Two: Castles in the Sky

Once Cinderella and Bigby meet, and after slight teasing of Bigby's "nervousness" about heights, the pair travel via giant to the wizard Ulmore's castle, while Cinderella briefs Bigby of the mission parameters. Bigby is to be dropped from the Cloud Kingdom, directly into the Imperial City of Geppetto (aka The Adversary), and through means of stealth, make his way to Gepetto's cabin.

Chapter Three: Behind Enemy Lines

After parachuting down, two enemies seemingly get the drop on Bigby. It's revealed that he's joined by his Zephyr son who subdues them until Bigby finishes them. Bigby is unfortunately stumbled upon by a drunk Pinocchio, who immediately questions his motives. He confesses he's there to murder the Blue Fairy and, if possible, bring Pinocchio back home. Upon further questioning of Bigby, the pair of spotted by an awakened Geppetto.

Chapter Four: The Israel Analogy

Bigby goads Geppetto using Israel as a metaphor for Fabletown's ability to fight against all comers, and says The Adversary is the only one who can win the war. After Geppetto agreeing to ponder the inquiry, Bigby further sends a message by detonating set explosives along all the trees in The Adversary's enchanted grove.

Lastly, Bigby reveals that Fabletown has left most of the heads of Gepetto's wooden army intact, in means to use them to barter peace, then departs back to the Cloud Kingdom. He places explosives by the base of his extraction beanstalk, destroying all enemy forces in pursuit.

Chapter Five: Home is the Hunter

Two weeks later, Bigby returns to Fabletown in Manhattan. After a warm welcome from Flycatcher, Beauty and Beast, Bigby and Beast walk off to discuss some private business...

Chapter Six: Restoration

Rose Red and Snow White travel to The Farm, driving to a remote part of it. Rose tells her to continue to trust her, to walk onward, until Snow discovers Bigby waiting for her. He then reveals for him to do the mission, he bought some of the land on The Farm to be his own, potentially alone with Snow, the cubs, and his Zephyr child, now named Ghost.

Chapter Seven: The Big Valley

Bigby then shows Snow the valley of the sleeping giants and dragons - now empty. Bigby reveals it has been separated from The Farm, which allows both Bigby to remain there along with his family. However, Ghost accidentally reveals Bigby's relationship with Sarah, much to his father's chagrin.

Snow then shows Bigby something of her own workings. She reveals she's turned what was once the cave she was kept captive in, into her hiding spot for all the letters, gifts, and such that the children had sent their father (and the replies that Snow penned on his behalf). She tasks him to memorize all of them before he is introduced to his other children. He agrees, and then asks for her hand in marriage, which she accepts.

Chapter Eight: The Wedding

Plans are swiftly made. Blue and Flycatcher oversee construction of a new home for the family. Old King Cole rushes back from his Arabian embassy to officiate the ceremony. The residents of Fabletown and the Farm discuss the upcoming wedding, and happily, the marriage is performed without a hitch.

Epilogue: Mr. and Mrs. Wolf

A honeymoon is had, and the new house becomes a home.
