"Twilight of the Dogs: Part Five of Animal Farm" is the tenth story in Fables, with a cover date of April 2003. It was published on February 12, 2003.[1]
Publisher's summary
"Animal Farm," Part 5 of 5. The revolt at the Farm has been suppressed, the revolutionaries quelled. Goldilocks remains on the loose since her seemingly fatal shooting but the rest of the dissidents have been tried and sentenced. The executioner's axe is sharp and swift as the Fables learn what true justice means.[1]
Plot
Snow wakes up at a hospital next to Bigby who tells her that she's been in a coma for six weeks. Two weeks later the residents of the Farm are convicted of high treason except Reynald the Fox. Months later, Snow leaves the hospital, while at the Farm the pigs are executed for their crimes. Snow leaves the hospital and arrives home. More months later, Weyland arrives and considers Snow idea of uses mundy weapons to retake the Homelands. After taking to Snow, Rose Red finally reveals why she hates Snow, because she is much more popular than her. Rose Red becomes the new administrator of the Farm as she turns the giants into pigs and the dragon into a raven.
