"Chapter One" is the first story of Fables: The Wolf Among Us.
Synopsis
It all starts with a simple domestic disturbance... but when it's Bigby's old nemesis the Woodsman who has an axe to grind, things go downhill fast.
Plot
Bigby receives a call from Toad about a disturbance going on in his tenement. Bigby talks with Toad about getting a glamour and threatens to send him to the Farm if he continues to remain un-glamoured.
Bigby goes upstairs and enters an apartment, where the Woodsman is hitting a prostitute for not knowing who he is. Bigby attempts to calm doown the Woodsman, but he is unsuccessful and is attacked.
Bigby and the Woodsman get into a scuffle, the end result being Bigby breaking Woody's jaw. Bigby talks with the prostitute and tries to get awnsers out of her, but gets no information that he doesn't already know.
Woody gets back up and tries to attack, but Bigby tackles him out of the window.

- The figurine that Bigby accidentally knocks over in the Woodsman's apartment is a donkey, foreshadowing Faith's identity.
- The Woodsman's apartment features a framed picture of a young girl standing amidst the woods, attired in a red hooded cloak and carrying a basket; a reference to Red Riding Hood.
