Clarathea, also known as Clara, is a fable that resides at The Farm and first appears in Fables 8. After she is transformed from a dragon to a raven, she becomes the enforcer for Rose Red.
Biography
Clara slumbered with the three giants Donny, Lonny, and Johnny on the mountains in the Valley of Big Sleepers. They were awakened by Snow White, to help her and Weyland Smith seize control back on The Farm. Clara was a mighty dragon, transformed into a raven by a spell, while the giant brothers became the new Three Little Pigs after the other three were killed. The nature of the spell allowed her to maintain her fire-breathing abilities in her new form.
Although her job is technically to act as a peace keeper on The Farm, she is solely loyal to Rose Red and makes, in no uncertain terms, threats to burn to death anyone who goes against Red's authority.
